Michael Hardman – President
Mike has earned a reputation for achieving quantifiable results for his clients. By placing a strong emphasis on getting to know every aspect of his customers' operations, he creates research-based, strategic marketing campaigns that address prevailing marketplace challenges head on and lead to increased business growth and brand awareness. Since starting the Hardman Group, Mike has built the agency through differentiated process and brand focus, developing a client competence in the areas of logistics software, durable medical products, trucking and transportation, and consumer goods. By using a proven method of understanding the client’s business and expertise, connecting with the customer, making an impact, and providing measurable results, he is able to challenge the status quo and create communications plans that provide the desired results.
Mike has spent nearly 20 years in marketing, advertising and sales promotion and has extensive expertise in consumer behavior research and strategic business planning. He has studied the intimacies of tailormade communications plans, providing him with a
background that can span across a broad spectrum of business sectors. He has completed graduate coursework at MIT's Sloan School of Management and has been published in several marketing journals and textbooks, including the Journal of Promotion Management and Marketing
in the 21st Century, Volume 4. In addition, Mike has lectured on buyer behavior at The University of Akron College of Business Administration’s Marketing Department. He received his MBA in marketing from the University of Toledo and holds a bachelor’s in economics from Hillsdale College.

Jennelle Kubina – Account Supervisor
From transportation logistics to surgical products, from real estate development to consumer products, Jennelle has put advertising, direct marketing, package design, public relations and online communications to work to deliver results. She is the account supervisor for several Hardman Group clients, including SkyBitz, GOJO and Edgepark Medical. Some of her current projects and activities include a business-to-business focus in the trucking industry for SkyBitz, private label brand development and package execution on hundreds of medical and therapeutic products for Edgepark Medical and emerging marketing product development for GOJO.
With a decade of experience in agency marketing communications, Jennelle’s experience includes working with technical, consumer and business-to-business clients in the manufacturing, real estate, retail and entertainment sectors. Many of the brands she’s helped build include The UPS Stores, Hewlett-Packard, Sears Optical and Buena Vista Pictures. Her experience with various clients covering a multitude of trade sectors creates a “think outside the box” approach in her work. She received her bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University.

Lisa Schechterman – Account Supervisor
Experienced and self-motivated, Lisa provides Hardman Group clients with effective account direction and leadership while providing positive, forward-moving results. She provides day-to-day supervision of marketing and public relations activities to clients such as The Lubrizol Corporation, GOJO Industries, Inc., and TMW Systems. Her ability to provide total client satisfaction is a testament to her variety of talents and expertise, including project management, written and oral communications, database and direct marketing, creative development, media planning and analysis, sales promotion and visual merchandising.
Lisa joined the Hardman Group with 10 years of client-side experience. She knows the pains and urgencies of a client because she’s been there. Her background includes national retailers like Sears Optical and Things Remembered, with responsibilities ranging from strategic planning to managing a $10 million marketing budget, to driving ROI through targeted direct marketing. Lisa also has a history in event planning and marketing, so she brings a sharp edge to promotional and trade show efforts. She earned a bachelor’s degree in media sales and management from the Kent State University School of Journalism.

Lynn Lilly – Creative Director
Lynn brings a strong and diverse background to the Hardman Group with areas of expertise covering print and broadcast advertising, direct marketing, interactive communications and public relations. As an award-winning writer of print and broadcast advertising, direct marketing, long-form brochures, videos, web content and executive speeches, she can help build and reposition brand identities, build public relations and plan marketing campaigns to deliver results for clients across a broad spectrum.
Lynn developed her strategic marketing and communications expertise as a partner in a major Cleveland advertising firm and consultancy. She has worked in the fields of transportation, technology, consumer products, retail, financial and insurance, health care, education, manufacturing and non-profit. Her client experience includes SkyBitz, TMW Systems, OfficeMax, Invacare, Case Western Reserve University, Beech Brook, Nanofilm, Dirt Devil, PURELL, Arhaus, GE Lighting, Progressive Insurance, American Greetings, and Eaton Corporation. She earned her bachelor’sdegree in English from Muskingum College and has been an instructor for the Cleveland Advertising Association and a guest lecturer at Cleveland State University, Ursuline College.

Anne Myers – Art Director
Anne provides an eye for detail and a creative insight for Hardman Group clients resulting in communications that drive the marketing initiative and provides results. She is consistently able to conceptualize and produce creative print and visual ideas that are strategically on target. Her diversity and artistic talents allow her to provide award-winning artwork needed to achieve the overall goals of our clients, including print ad creation, tradeshow materials, product packaging, direct marketing, collateral and logo creation.
Her experiences prior to the Hardman Group include all aspects of graphic design and art direction in the advertising field. She has provided artistic direction for companies in the areas of transportation, manufacturing, amusement parks, entertainment, medical, non-profit, retail, wireless communications, print media, public transportation and radio. She is a graduate of Kent State University’s College of Fine and Professional Arts with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

Liz Remmel – Interactive & Electronic Media Director
Liz is focused on bringing clients’ interactive needs up to speed and beyond by taking the ordinary and making it come to life through technology. Everything from email blasts, blogs and website design/programming falls under her realm. Extending existing print campaigns for clients like SkyBitz, TMW Systems, and PURELL's Workplace Wellness, she can provide instantaneously client contact through e-mail newsletter creation and tracking, updating websites within seconds, and collect potential customer information as a follow-up from tradeshows.
Bringing a new perspective to our team, Liz hails from the consumer based art & non-profit world. As graphic designer for renowned artist Don Drumm, she launched the artist’s wide-range of fine crafts to world through its e-commerce site, which is growing exponentially to this day. Additionally, her design company, Immix Studio, dabbles in a bit of pretty much everything, growing her knowledge base to include things from chemical manufacturing to law. She studied photojournalism at Ohio University, then went on to Kent State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in visual communication design with a minor in electronic media. |

Dallas Moyer – Public Relations Project Manager
Dallas has a blend of education and experience encompassing the many facets of planning and coordinating a results-oriented public relations campaign. From having a grasp of the infrastructure of the media most important to clients, including transportation, trucking and supply chain management, to researching new media initiatives, like upstream oil and gas and industrial marine, for clients like SkyBitz and TMW Systems, he is able to establish strong lines of communications vital to securing a well-defined media presence in the most important publications to our clients.
Before joining the Hardman Group, Dallas built his experience in public and media relations by working on both sides of the profession, including five years in the athletic media relations field and working for two newspapers, with stints as a staff writer and an assistant photo editor. His portfolio of experience includes media relations, radio and print journalism, photojournalism, public relations, layout and design and event planning. He graduated from The University of Akron’s School of Communication with a master’s degree in communication with prior bachelor’s degree work in English
and journalism.
