Hardman Group Earns AD-Q Honors for Transport Topics AD Campaign

Advertising Agency’s SkyBitz Ad Campaign Among Top Artwork in Trucking’s No. 1 Trade Publication

AKRON, Ohio – Publication and advertising research firm Harvey Research, Inc., in association with Transport Topics, the No. 1 trade publication of the trucking industry, recognized Akron, Ohio-based Hardman Group with an Ad-Q award for its 2008 SkyBitz ad campaign.

The Ad-Q Studies division of Harvey Research, Inc., published the results in its tri-annual report, conducted through a readership study of Transport Topics. The ad campaign, comprised of five ads portraying SkyBitz customer testimonials, posted one of the scores of the ads reviewed in the report. The Hardman Group and SkyBitz launched the ad campaign in March 2008.

“Our SkyBitz creative team understands how prospects think, leading to the generation of memorable, actionable advertising,” Hardman Group President Michael Hardman said. “This award is a product of digging deep into the data and executing an ad campaign that generates leads and provides measurable results.”

The Ad-Q Study is an independent and objective means of judging the effectiveness of an advertisement's physical components, such as size, color, headline, copy length and graphical quality, as well as its overall strategic approach. Harvey employed a systematic sampling technique to ensure a representative cross-section would be surveyed, creating a statistical universe derived from Transport Topics’ U.S. circulation.
